Product Range UPS - Systems JOVYTEC L www.jovyatlas.de www.jovyatlas.de www.jovyatlas.de Applications:: Power Supply Protection of CAD-workstations, server systems, control stations, etc. JOVYTEC L 6kVA / 8kVA / 10kVA The JOVYTEC L (L = large) is available in the power range 6, 8 and 10 kVA. By their on-line double-conversion technology ups-systems out of this series fulfill the requirements of the highest protection class VFI-SS-111. The JOVYTEC L-series has a diagnostic test system which is activated every time the UPS systems starts, Moreover that the upssystems are fitted out with a power relating fan control and with an active power factor control (PFC = Power Factor Correction), which provides a sinusoidal voltage input. The output voltage of all JOVYTEC L-systems is also sinusoidal. JOVYTEC L series systems supply the connected load constant with the specified frequency whereby the input frequency can be adjusted between the range 45-65 Hz. The ups-systems of the JOVYTEC L-series provide a multilingual LCD display (5 languages are chooseable) with extensive display options for voltage, frequency, battery status and utilization of capacity of the UPS system. The clearly arranged and user-friendly control and display panel allows to to choose between four different operating modes: Online Mode, Green Mode, Free Running Mode and Generator Mode. • In Online Mode the connected equipment is continously supplied through the inverter in accordance with VFI-SS-111. The inverter delivers sinusoidal voltage „grade 02“. The power supply to the equipment is not interrupted even in case of power failure. • In Green Mode the user is normally supplied through the bypass. In cases of voltage fluctuations or power failure, power is supplied through the inverter. Intelligent software ensures that the switch takes place almost entirely without interruption. Efficiency can be increased to more than 98% in Green Mode. • The UPS system’s input frequency can fluctuate between 45-65 Hz in Free Running Mode. The JOVYTEC L maintains a completely stable output frequency. The frequency parameters can be configured with the software. • In Generator Mode the JOVYTEC P prevents frequent switching when the generator’s output voltage is distorted. This operating mode greatly decreases the strain on the batteries. It also offers a high level of operational security for the equipment.
