JOVYSTAR hp series systems offer optimal protection for critical devices and are available with outputs of 200 up to 800 kVA. JOVYSTAR hp systems work with dual transducer technology (VFI-SS-111 in accordance with EN 62040-3) and they are equipped with a static bypass. An optional external manual bypass is also available. A significant security feature is provided by the two independent microprocessors, controlling the rectifier, inverter and static bypass. Up to 6 systems can be connected parallel to provide for redundant operation (half load parallel operation, n+1 operation) or to increase the output – this allows the UPS system to be augmented to answer increasing power requirements. The use of modern IGBT rectifiers significantly reduces interruptions in the supply network. The innovative IGBT rectifier ensures nearly sinusoidal power consumption. The advantages of this technology are obvious: due to the improved power factor at the input of the rectifier, this UPS system consumes up to 30% less input power than standard UPS systems with a the thyristor rectifier. The reduced power at the input of the rectifier in the network supply allows for significant savings in the dimensioning of the distribution, fuses and cable. The excellent power factor of this series and the low proportion of harmonic oscillations ensure lasting protection against an overloading of the onsite supply systems, such as power generators, fuses and switches. JOVYSTAR HP series systems are very well suited for operation in emergency power in conjunction with power generators. JOVYSTAR hp systems are very easy to maintain: All major components can be easily reached from the front side. The operating panel allows all functions to be easily operated and the program control menu easily directs the user to all display and operational functions of the system. An clear text display shows all measurements, alarms and status reports.
