Product catalog summary
Overview: The RD7 is a maneuverable, compact, and powerful walk-behind double drum vibratory roller designed for optimal compaction of asphalt and granular materials. Its compact design allows for seamless compaction near walls and boundaries, and its low center of gravity facilitates easy maneuverability.
Key Features:
  • Dead man's handle for enhanced operator safety, automatically stopping the roller in case of danger.
  • Protection against hand-arm vibrations through shock-mounts and an attenuator in the center pole.
  • Fold-down center pole for easier transport and space-saving storage.
  • Optimized center pole design for improved functionality.
  • Special coupling/pump drive system for easy starting and operation, even in winter conditions.
Technical Specifications:
  • Operating weight ranges from 685.8 kg to 751.4 kg depending on the model.
  • Dimensions (L x W x H) are consistent across models, with slight variations in height.
  • Drum width is 650 mm, and drum diameter is 420 mm.
  • Centrifugal force is available in high (22.2 kN) and low (13.1 kN) settings.
  • Frequency settings are high (62.1 Hz) and low (47.5 Hz).
  • Travel speed is up to 4.5 km/h forward and 2.5 km/h in reverse.
  • Gradeability is 40% with vibration and 45% without.
Engine Specifications:
  • Various engine types including air-cooled single-cylinder four-cycle diesel and gasoline engines.
  • Manufacturers include Hatz, Honda, and Yanmar.
  • Displacement ranges from 389 cm³ to 445 cm³.

RD7-1

RD7Tandem Rollers Maneuverable, compact and powerful: RD7 The right choice for a broad range of applications — the RD7. The walk-behind double drum vibratory roller optimally compacts asphalt and granular material. The compact design offers many advantages: The tapered frame allows for seamless compaction right up against walls or other boundaries. Due to the short roller spacing and low center of gravity, the roller can turn much more easily than comparable models. Operations are therefore much more fluid and faster. • High level of operator safety thanks to the dead man’s handle: in the event of danger, the vibratory roller stops automatically. • Protection against hand-arm vibrations due to the shock-mounts and attenuator in the center pole. • Transport more easily and save space when storing due to the fold-down center pole. • Optimized center pole - in design and function. • Easy starting and working, even in the winter, due to the special coupling/pump drive system.
