When O.D. clearance is a concern or I.D. pipe cutting is necessary Wachs offers machine options or machine modifica-tions that will fit your specific requirement. Application: Perform machine cut and weld prep from inside 28 x 1Ԕ wall vessel to remove hemi head. Clearance not available for conventional O.D. mount. Application:Perform machine cut on a 36 x 1/2Ԕ pipe in a Nuclear power plant to remove a defective flange. Radial clearance from O.D. was minimal (2 max), therefore, it was necessary to make the cut from the I.D..
