ULTRA LOW-FRICTION BIO BASES & ADDITIVES HIGH LUBRICITY BIO BASES, ADDITIVES, FORM/RELEASE OILS, EMULSIONS VOLTRION® combines its proprietary Electro-synthesis technology with other modular processes to create its unique sustainable bases, co-bases and bio-additives. What makes us unique are the ultra-low friction characteristics of our products and the high solvency power in most severely refined base oils. VOLTRION® additives are ester based building blocks for the lubricant, greases and fuel industry to reduce friction and wear, particularly in the fatty boundary regime. The electric process can also be used to enhance mineral oil performances, especially in terms of viscosity and viscosity index and polarity. As additives they are primarly used as boundary lubricity additives (of the “super-lubricity class” or “surface-gel-forming friction modifiers”) primarly in heavier formulations, gear oils, marine oils as well as process and industrial oils where pre-EP/AW protection is needed.
