Screen filter elements The screen filter elements consist of a support body, a screen element, a screw cap and two flat seals. The filter lengths 496 mm and 508 mm consist of two support bodies that are screwed together using an intermediate piece. Two screen elements are required for this. This structure makes it possible that when a filter change is necessary, only the screen element exposed to dirt has to be replaced and disposed of or cleaned. The remaining parts of the screen filter elements are reusable. The support body and the screw cap are made of polypropylene, the screen elements are made of porous polyethylene or polyamide, depending on the fineness, the flat seals in the standard version are made of Perbunan. The screen filter elements are manufactured without the addition of binding agents or wetting agents. For better differentiation, the different subtleties of the polyamide elements are color-coded.
