Description

The LVD 3 signal conditioner is designed for precise and fast position measurements using LVDT transducers. It features two identical, electrically isolated channels, each with an oscillator for AC excitation, inputs for position-sensitive signals, and an adjustable signal amplifier with current and voltage output. Calibration is facilitated by switches, potentiometers, and test sockets. The device can be mounted on a DIN rail or flat surface, with all electrical connections made through plug-in terminal blocks.

Applications

Suitable for use with PLCs and position transducers of type LVDT, providing outputs of 0-10 VDC, ±10 VDC, and 4-20 mA with a 24 VDC power supply.

The module consists of two identical channels, electrically isolated from each other and from the power supply. Each channel has an oscillator that supplies the transducer with AC excitation, inputs for the two position sensitive signals from the transducer and an adjustable signal amplifier with current and voltage output. Calibration of LVD 3 and the connected LVDT transducers is easily performed by switches, potentiometers and test sockets on the module. LVD 3 is mounted on a DIN rail or any flat surface.
