VIMERCATI Fundamentals for quality. The uprights of the frame are made from the same heavy plate and also cut in the same rolling direction. The homogeneity of the structure and the mechanical and dynamic characteristics guarantee the high rigidity of the frame and its longlasting precision. All surfaces of the frame parts are machined before welding. Perfect contact surfaces welded together lead to a rigid and homogeneous frame. Flexible shear for various cutting sizes: CH 3100 x 12 cuts special material in various sizes, the smallest of them being 10 x 10 mm. For optimal flexibility the shear is equipped with removable finger protection and hydraulic rear support with sliding table made of stainless steel and integrated disappearing arms for perfect evacuation of small parts. Machine supplied to CERN, Geneva, the European Organisation for Nuclear Research, the biggest particle physics laboratory in the world.

If stops are programmed at different positions, they serve as cutting angle device.

Anti – torsion device: Not acceptable distorsions may occur the narrower the strip to be cut and the larger the cutting angle of the shear. To remedy this fact, a series of hydraulic cylinders serve as counter pressure during the shearing movement. Idle front support table with teflon-covered rolls for easy manual feeding of heavy material. Special inclined shear where first cutting operation provides strips which are cut afterwards into small parts to be supplied to foundaries for melting (for instance nickel).
