MOUNTED PUMP UNITS GP-05 SERIES The mountings shown fit all seven sizes of the GP-05 series, with horizontal and vertical porting options. FOOT-BRACKET MOUNTED A sturdy cast iron bracket, cast and machined by Viking, assures accurate fit with the pump. C-FLANGE MOTOR MOUNTED UNIT Viking external gear pumps in combination with the Nema “C” flange bracket and flexible coupling provide an easily assembled, compact unit. HYDRAULIC GEAR PUMPS GENERAL INFORMATION DISCHARGE PRESSURE The hydraulic gear pumps are especially designed for operating many types of hydraulic equipment which require pressures up to 2500 PSI with intermittent service. INLET PRESSURE Sizing the inlet piping so the fluid velocity is less than 5 ft./sec. will insure satisfactory operation of the pump. Positive inlet pressure is limited to 15 PSI maximum. TEMPERATURE RANGE The Viking hydraulic gear pump will function properly up to a maximum of 225°F. The recommended operating temperature for hydraulic service is between 50° and 150°F....
