Overview of V6000 Configurations

I) Vibration Protection System
This configuration allows for easy setup using the V6000 configuration tool to monitor the protection of one or several machines. Measured values are displayed on local indicators and can be transmitted to PLC/DCS/HMI using Modbus RS485 or 4-20 mA output.

II) Protection & Conditional Monitoring
This setup facilitates connection to condition monitoring and diagnostic software without the need for external modules, additional wiring, or extra rack slots. Communication with Vibsens-PRO software is achieved through the Ethernet port in the V6000-G Rack Interface Module using a single network cable.

V6000 System Components

V6000-G Communication Gateway (Optional): Supports Modbus® protocol for digital communications with various platforms.
V6000-V Vibration Signals (Required): Connects up to four vibration inputs from accelerometers, velocity sensors, proximity probes, or analog signals.
V6000-RPS Power Supply (Required): Accepts worldwide AC/DC voltages and frequencies, with redundancy options for uninterrupted operation.

Analog Communications
All monitor module channels offer analog 4-20 mA proportional outputs for compatibility with recorders and process control systems. Buffered outputs are available via BNC connectors for easy connection to portable data loggers.

Local Monitor & Keypad
Features a high visibility digital LED display showing current values, set points, and alarm status. Operators can configure settings for each input.

Applications
The V6000 system is suitable for vibration measurement and continuous online protection with optional condition monitoring for medium to large-sized critical plant machinery, including turbines, cooling towers, fans, gearboxes, generators, electromotors, pumps, compressors, wind turbines, and hydro turbines.
