SOLUTION: VIBCO designed a special vise-grip bracket VC-130 with a V-130 ball vibrator attached to it. It made a fast and easy attachment to the flange and the vibrator could be easily moved up and down the seam. The pedestals now come out smooth and perfect every time. When using multiple forms, the ones in the middle of the table did not come out right and had to be scrapped. ENGINEERING DATA & APPLICATIONS ORNAMENTAL CONCRETE PROBLEM: 48” high x 10” square exposed aggregate pillars were impossible to vibrate internally due to the exposed aggregate. Customer was looking for other ways to produce his product. ANSWER: A vibrating table large enough to hold the molds was constructed and two model 4P-1000 electric motor vibrators were used. The forms were moved down to the vibrating table on a roller conveyor put on the table – concrete was added (390 lbs.) and vibrated. Total fill and vibration time appr. 2 minutes.
