Note: this mechanism releases latent heat stored during the day in order to slow down the formation of frost and mist. Mirrors equipped with this system therefore require exposure to the sun and its operation will be compromised if it is positioned against a wall or if it is constantly in a shaded area. Mirrors for tough industrial conditions Mirrors for tough environments have a warranty due to the conditions in which they are required to function (high heat, vapours, etc.).
