Overview: This document provides technical specifications and operational guidelines for RXD and RXS
pneumatic cylinders, focusing on their braking systems and connection configurations.
Specifications:- Materials: End caps are made of aluminum alloy, piston rods are chromium-plated steel, tie rods are stainless steel, and barrels are anodized aluminum.
- Seals: Made of NBR rubber.
- Temperature Range: Ambient: -10°C to +80°C; Medium: 0°C to +40°C.
- Pressure Range: Operating pressure is between 2 to 10 bar.
- Lubrication: Not required; uses filtered air.
Operational Features:- Double Acting Brake (RXD): Air supplied to port AA applies the brake, while air to port BB releases it. The clamping force is proportional to the pressure at port AA.
- Single Acting Brake (RXS): The brake is applied by default and released by supplying air to port BB.
- Braking Application: Can be applied at any point of the cylinder stroke in both directions.
Performance:- Speed and Stopping Tolerances: Varies with speed; for example, at 50 mm/s, RXD has a tolerance of +/- 0.3 mm, while RXS has +/- 0.8 mm.
- Static Force: Varies by bore size and pressure, with detailed values provided for different configurations.
Additional Features:- Special production options include integration with twin rod cylinders and torque actuators.
- Components can be supplied pre-assembled on a base.
Recommendations: For other connection configurations, contact the technical-sales office.
