Polaris™ 2.0 MED
Polaris™ 2.0 MED is designed for the manufacturing of sterile pharmaceutical and biotech products and plant cleaning in place (CIP).
Standard units offer capacities from 250 to 4500 l/h. The system ensures high decontamination performance and produces Water for Injection (WFI) that meets Ph.Eur, USP, and JP standards.
The system features high efficiency and fast start-up with 'falling film' columns, available in 3 to 8 columns to reduce utility consumption. A 10% blowdown minimizes water footprint.
Local support and service are available globally, with yearly service and preventative maintenance plans.
A range of standard options is available to meet varying customer requirements.
Polaris™ 2.0 solutions comply with GAMP, cGMP, ISPE, and FDA guidelines, ensuring product quality specifications of major pharmacopoeia.
Conductivity is less than 1.3 μS/cm at 25°C, with specific limits on TOC, bacterial endotoxins, bacteria, nitrate, and heavy metals.
Specifications include feed water temperature, pressure, power supply, compressed air, cooling water, and industrial steam requirements.
Components are made from Inox 316L and 304, with specific standards for evaporating columns, heat exchangers, and other parts.
Designed according to PED and EN13445, with features like droplet separation, insulated steam pipework, and a centralised drain tank.
Includes PID pressure and flow control, automatic blowdown, and sampling with sanitary points.
Features an IP54 control panel, Siemens HMI, and validated software compliant with CFR21 Part 11.
Standard design documents and qualification protocols are provided in English, with O&M manuals in local languages.
Includes feed water tank, SS 304 control board, blowdown cooler, and more for enhanced functionality.
New MED units are designed to reduce industrial steam and cooling water consumption, enhancing sustainability.
