Technical Datasheet Fluid solutions. Solid performance. Respect the work pressure established values. Gas oil and oil stains do not damage the tubes, but they should not be used to transport fuel or oil, nor be submerged in these liquids. This product is not recommended for the transport of abrasive particles. - This hose has the Type Approval certificate (TAC) number 12/00066 issued by Lloyd's Register, which certify the compliance with the SAE J2006 for the three styles R1, R2 and R3 and also with the ISO/DIN 13363 for silicone pieces used in the marine wet exhaust system. - Silicone rubber used is in compliance with the RoHS Directive 2002/95/EC and its subsequent amendments including the RoHS2 Directive 2011/65/EU and RoHS3 Directive 2015/863. This product is recommended to the use of nautical industry in the marine engine wet exhaust systems from the connection at the engine exhaust manifold to the hull or overboard discharge fittings - Not affected by anti-freeze or antirust liquids. - Highly resistant to hardening with very good compression characteristics. - Excellent flexibility during the assembly process. - Smooth inner and outer appearance, red internal color and blue external color. - Excellent resistance to thermal aging and oxidizing agents (oxygen, ozone, UV). - Operational temperature range from -55°C (-67 F) to +180°C (356 F), it may reach up to 200°C (392 F) during short periods of time. - Standard length (straight hoses): from 100 to 4000 mm. - Standard length of legs (elbows): 100x100, 150x150, and 200x200 mm. Style R1 (Softwall). Straight hose made of silicone with textile reinforcements. Style R2 (Hardwal). Straight hose made of silicone with textile reinforcements and encapsulated spring steel wire bronzed plated. Style R3 (Flexible Connectors). Elbows, reducers and convoluted hoses made of silicone with textile reinforcements. The standard size range goes from 6 to 508mm (1/4" to 20") and is applicable for all styles (straight hoses both with and without wire, elbows, reducers and convoluted hoses). The construction change depending of internal diameter value and style. The minimum burst established by SAE J2006 standard is 2.50 bar (36psi) for all diameters and styles. According with this requirement in the bellow table there are represented the working pressure values for each diameter. In the table there are also represented the thickness values according with the diameter and the style. Contact your sales for more information [email protected] - www.venair.com
