Design and Connection

While a Dahlander connection allows a speed ratio of 1:2, two separate windings offer more varied speed ratios but with lower output for the same design.

Pole-changing motors are available in sizes 56 to 355, with a power range of 0.06 – 400 kW. They offer protection types up to IP 55 according to DIN EN 60034-5, with higher protection types available as options. The construction types include IM B3, IM B5, and derived types according to DIN EN 60034-7, with cooling type IC 411 as per DIN EN 60034-6.

Series and Standards
The motors are available in series K21R, K22R, and K20R, with mounting dimensions and output correlation according to IEC 60072. They comply with national and international standards in line with IEC 60034-1.

Applications
