The fire gas motors from VEM are based on the proven basic design of the K21R/K11R series. Adaptation of the insulation systems, bearings and cabling connections enables them to withstand both smoke and heat. The motor insulation systems, in particular, are subjected to extreme heat in the case of a fire, which could even lead to decomposition of the materials. Thus, depending on the temperature loads to be expected, materials complying with temperature class F, H or 250 (IEC85) are used. The motors are connected by way of hightemperature- resistant cables or specially insulated single conductors....
