Main Features
The All-Metal Variable Leak Valve, Series 59.0, is designed for precise control of small gas flows to manage process pressure. It is available in sizes DN 16 mm (⅝") and can be operated manually via a handwheel or with a pressure controller using a stepper motor. The valve body is made of stainless steel with a diaphragm sealing technology.

Functional Principle
This valve is suitable for both angle and inline configurations, offering resistance to corrosive and aggressive gases. It ensures precise and reproducible gas flow adjustments and reliable leak-tight closure.

Technical Data
The valve features a leak rate of less than 1 · 10^-10 mbar ls^-1 and operates within a pressure range from UHV to 10 bar (abs). It can withstand a differential pressure of up to 10 bar at opening. The valve's dead volume varies between angle and inline configurations, and it can endure up to 20,000 cycles before requiring service. The bake-out temperature for the valve body and manual actuator is ≤ 300 °C, while the controller with a stepper motor is limited to ≤ 50 °C. The valve is constructed from AISI 660 and AISI 316L materials, with a gold-plated AISI 301 diaphragm.

Controller Specifications
The controller offers a position resolution of 100,000 steps and a closing time of 3.5 seconds. Various interface options are available, including RS232, Logic (analog/digital), DeviceNet®, Profibus, RS485, Ethernet, CC-Link, and EtherCAT.

Customized solutions and spare parts are available upon request. Flange connections for valve installation are detailed in series 33, with options for CF-F DN 40 seat side or VCR on the seat or gas inlet side.
