ADVANCED KNITTING TECHNOLOGY LMW 4Fabric Scanner:Latest generation Production defects are expensive. The faster they are detected, the sooner savings can be made. LMW 4 detects both needle faults and holes, and stops the knitting machine with a corresponding error message. The system is characterized by its extremely simple operation and was developed for single and double jersey machines. No special background knowledge is required. LMW 4 consists of a scanner head, operating terminal and control unit. The scanner head is positioned on the fabric surface and works according to the reflection principle. The emitted light is reflected by the fabric and evaluated in the scanner head.
