HOFF-LAB PRESS ** code 3370B ** Vaporising ironing machine to check the dimensional stability of orthogonal and knitted fabrics during ironing tests. Hoff-Lab Press is equipped with a PLC device which controls the automatic pressing, sample vaporising and suction cycles. The test is set through a control panel where some preset programs are available. The operator can anyway create and save new programs. Fabric steaming is performed by means of independent ironing boards: upper board, lower board or both. Instrument ironing boards are heated by means of the vaporising steam; without any electric resistances. Suction is performed by the lower board. Suction depressure complies with international standards and can be certified by third parties. The upper board is moved by a pneumatic piston, which requires compressed air supply (minimum inlet air pressure 8 Bar, 800 Kpa). The instrument is endowed with a compressed air inlet pressure regulator, allowing to adjust the air pressure from 0.1 Bar (10 kPa) up to 6 Bar (600 kPa). The Hoff-Lab Press needs to be connected to the steam factory net, with minimum steam inlet pressure of 5.0 Bar (500 kPa) and +150°C temperature; if not possible an additional electric boiler for steam production is necessary - available as optional, code 3370.2. It is available the model 3370A conforms to the next standards: ASTM D2724, IWS TM 290, JIS L1096 method H2, H3, H4, JIS L1909.
