Line differential relay with IEC 61850 The VAMP 50 series protection relay family is based on proven technology concepts developed in close cooperation with customers. Vamp products have been designed around user-friendliness, a feature which is proven in our customer reports day after day VAMP 59 is a differential protection device mainly designed for sub- transmission overhead lines, medium voltage cables and transformers. VAMP 59 is extremely cost-effective due its flexible design Phase segregated protection is based on current (vector) differential A combination of both phase and magnitude differential is used to determine operation. VAMPSET Setting and Configuration Tool VAMPSET is a user-friendly, free-of-charge relay management software for setting parameters and configuring VAMP relays. Via the VAMPSET software, relay parameters, configurations, and recorded data can be exchanged between PC and VAMP relays. Supporting the COMTRADE format, VAMPSET also incorporates tools for analysing relay events, waveforms and trends from data recorded by the relays, e.g. during a network fault situation COMTRADE files can be downloaded to the memory of the relay and be played over and over again by using VAMPSET.
