1.1 Description VALTORC EL Sries Electric Actuators are designed to provide reliable and efficient bidirectional opration of 1/4-turn bail valves or other types of valves, which allow for 360 degrees of rotation with 90-degree stops. The sup-ported torque range for actuation is 600 inch pounds. 3 MOUNTING THE ACTUATOR First verify tha the output torque of the actuator is appro-priate for the torque requlrements of the valve and that the actuator duty cycle Is appropriate for the Intended application. 3.1 Actuator Drive Output Requirements: valtorc EL Sries actuatots have a square output drive. ISO 5211 boit circle configurations are provlded (see Figures 2Aand 2B). 3.2 Bracket requirements: It Is mandatory that the actuator be flrmly secured to a sturdy mountlng bracket.
