AE–Sensor Data Sheet VS75-SI-40dB The VS75-SIC-40dB is a piezoelectric AE-sensor with integrated preamplifier. Its frequency response is characterized by a peak at 75 kHz where it exhibits a resonance. The low frequency response makes it suited for monitoring large objects or objects made of highly attenuating material. The VS75-SIC-40dB can be used for integrity testing of bitumen coated pressure vessels and for detecting partial discharge. The integrated preamplifier has 40 dB gain.
