CORROSION RESISTANCE The type of environment is the main criteria in the choice of surface treatment or type of steel. According to the ISO 9223 standard, the corrosivity of the environment is classified C1 to CX, where C1 is the least corrosive and CX the most aggressive. This classification is a good tool for selecting the type of zinc coating: SG, EZ, HDG or ZF.
