Technical Data Sheet va-Q-pur Product Description va-Q-pur is a microporous insulation based on a 100 % open-cell polyurethane foam, which is exclusively provided to va-Q-tec. In general va-Q-pur is produced in rectangular shapes by our innovative va-Q-seam technique but various shapes are possible on request. Because of the low weight core material, va-Q-pur elements are mainly used for applications in containers but also in water boilers, refrigerators etc. va-Q-pur can be used in combination with conventional polyurethane systems, as the higher temperature in the lathering process does not lead to a degradation of the thermal and mechanical properties of the panels. Hereby the huge deformation resistance and quality of the surface are the crucial points. Huge reduction of the insulation thickness compared to conventional polyurethane foams Very high compressive strength Low weight material 100 % quality control with the patented gas pressure measurement system (va-Q-check)
