The Meter Grabber provides superior protection from exploding meters due to faults. Operator protection is paramount therefore the Meter Grabber has no metal components about the tools working end. Side slots permit venting during a fault. The working end of the tool provides a positive capture around the entire base, eliminating the chance of a dropped or broken meter as well as offering additional mechanical leverage when removing stubborn meters. Molded of a rugged polymer the tool is rugged, lightweight and tinted to allow the operator to visually observe the entire operation. Shown with optional arc shield for additional operator safety.
