Product catalog summary
System Overview
The USTER® TENSOJET 4 is a high-performance digital tensile testing system designed for analyzing complete yarn lots. It includes a basic installation with a test unit, operating unit, system printer, apparatus table, and waste yarn container. Optional components include a package truck, calibrating apparatus, ISOINSPECT, and a vibration absorber.

Basic Installation Functions
The system measures tensile strength and elongation of staple fiber yarns, collects and evaluates data, and classifies yarns based on USTER® STATISTICS. It includes an editor for report customization and filter functions for data retrieval.

Test Unit Specifications
The test unit is suitable for staple fiber yarns ranging from 5 to 150 tex. It uses a constant rate of extension (CRE) testing method with a capacity of 30,000 tests per hour at 400 m/min. The force measuring range is 0.7 to 50 N, and the elongation measuring range is 3 to 70%.

Operating Unit and Software
The operating unit features a menu-driven design with a Windows operating system, allowing for easy access to testing, setup, and data management. It includes an industrial computer system with a dual-core processor, 4GB RAM, and a 19” LCD monitor.

Application Software and Reports
The software generates various reports, including test reports, USTER® Quality Reports, and QUALIPROFILE® graphics. Reports can be displayed and printed automatically or as required, with limit values set based on USTER® STATISTICS.

Statistical and Graphic Output
Statistical reports include mean values, standard deviation, and coefficient of variation. Graphic outputs such as stroke diagrams and frequency distribution diagrams are available for force and elongation.

Data Storage and Protection
Data is stored on a hard disk with a capacity for 500,000 measurements per test series. Long-term storage is possible via a backup unit.

Environmental and Installation Requirements
The system requires specific ambient conditions, including a relative humidity of 65±2% and a temperature of 20±2°C for temperate climates. Electrical connections require single-phase mains with specific voltage and frequency requirements.

General Information
The USTER® TENSOJET 4 weighs 180 kg, with the table and waste yarn container weighing an additional 60 kg. Uster Technologies AG reserves the right to make changes to the product without notice.
