Overview: The HTM 1500 and HTM 2500 are surface drill rigs manufactured in Val d’Or, Canada, known for their performance and reliability in underground drilling projects. They feature simple mechanics, robust head assembly, and safety devices, making them a reference in Canada.
Power Unit: The HTM 1500 is equipped with a Cummins QSB6.7 engine, 190 HP, operating at 2400 RPM. The HTM 2500 uses a Cummins QSB6.7-P engine, 260 HP, at 2000 RPM. Both models have a fuel tank capacity of 205 liters and include a fuel filter and water separator.
Wire Line: The drum capacity is 3048 meters with a line pull of 21KN and a line speed of 550 meters/minute. Wire cording is managed by a spool lead screw.
Dimensions and Weight: The HTM 1500 weighs approximately 11,330 kg, while the HTM 2500 weighs about 14,090 kg. Dimensions are provided for height, length, and width.
Hydraulic Components: The system includes a fuel tank capacity of 605 liters, three pumps, and full flow filtration at 10 microns. An optional air/oil cooling system is available.
Water Pump: The standard pump is BEAM 435 with a capacity of 140 liters/minute. Other pumps are available on demand.
Rod Handler: Features include HWL & PWL options, a rod rack for 30 ft, and two patented rod safety handling clamps.
Drill Mast: The mast has a feed cylinder stroke of 3.3 meters, a pull of 223,300N, and a feed speed of 0.47 m/sec. The mast drilling angle ranges from 43° to 92°.
Accessories: Optional accessories include synchronization, torque control, mud mixer, speed control, and high-efficiency LED lights. Models are available without a drill shack, on track, or mounted on a truck.
Drill Head: The drill head features a Boyles HWL chuck, Funk HMD2355 4-speed transmission, and a Rexroth 160 variable hydraulic motor. RPM ranges from 100-1300 across four gears.
Depth Capacity: The HTM 1500 has a maximum depth capacity of 2,023 meters for BWL, while the HTM 2500 can reach up to 3,000 meters. Capacities vary for NWL, HWL, and PWL.
