AMETEK’S MODEL 40 PNEUMATIC CONTROLLER CAN CONTROL YOUR DEMANDS AND YOUR PROCESS VARIABLES WITH THESE KEY FEATURES: 4 week typical production time! • Differential Pressure Controllers with external DP cell attached Transmitter option Auto/manual switch option Modular design and precalibrated elements for quick field changes 50+ years of industry acceptance and installed base Meets EPA Quad Zero requirement of < 6.0 SCFH bleed rate when used on natural gas supply Many other mounting and controller options Model 40 pneumatic controllers are able to automatically position a valve or other final control element to maintain process pressure at a desired set point. Controller features a broad selection of control modes (proportional, proportional plus reset (P+I) and proportional + reset + rate (PID) and differential gap. An optional auto/manual two position by-pass switch is also available. A large, easy-to-read black on white dial offers maximum resolution. The Model 40 complies with the EPA’s “Go Green" Initiative under the new Clean Air Act Standards and meets the QUAD “O” Standard’s requirement of an exhaust rate not to exceed 6.0 scfh. The versatile and environmentally friendly Model 40 is designed to sense pressure and transmit an air signal, which is precisely proportional to the measured variable. The output signal from the controller can be fed to a valve positioner or other remotely located final control device.
