USS= LS7366R-SDIGITAL 32-bit Quadrature Counter with Serial Interface, Page 1 of 1 The LSI Computer Systems LS7366R-S is a 32-bit CMOS counter with a direct interface to quadrature signals from incremental encoders. It also interfaces with the index signals from incremental encoders to perform a variety of marker functions. A 4-wire SPI/MICROWIRE bus is used for communication with a host microprocessor. The counter can be configured to operate as 1, 2, 3 or 4-byte counter and can count in a variety of modes such as quadrature, free-running, range limit and modulo-N. Hardware I/Os are provided for event driven operations, such as processor interrupt and index related functions.
