One machine does the work of many by taking advantage of the X and Y axis movement offered by bridge cranes. The UM system requires 2 bridges and 4 trolleys. Pictures show a typical installation on a 12’ bridge, other heights can be accommodated. The unique design offers reach-in flexibility for machine loading and unloading as well as a capability for stabilizing out of balance loads that can not be matched by a swinging hoist. The manipulator’s round, telescoping lifting column or rigid column permits lift strokes of 60” or more from floor level. These manipulators are customized to fit your application. A wide variety of manual, mechanical and powered end effectors can be attached to the carriage/bolt plate on the vertical column for handling practically any load. Control options include handle mounted and pendant operation. All UNIDEX manipulators are designed and manufactured in the USA to exacting quality standards from welded carbon steel construction.
