The ‘One-Nut’ Concept The ‘inside out’ concept allows fluid to pass ‘between the diaphragms’, directly through the centre of the pump. Air pressure operates ‘on the outside’. The Flotronic ‘Inside-Out’ Concept Compressed air is alternately sent to the back of each diaphragm via our unique air distribution system. Diaphragms are screwed onto a thrust tube which passes through the centre of the pump and thus the pressure placed on the back of one diaphragm causes both diaphragms to move at the same speed.
