Kammprofile Gaskets UKL KAMMPROFILE Gaskets comprise of metal core with concentric grooves on either side with a soft layer of sealing material bonded to both grooved faces. The serrated metallic core is very effective in sealing high temperature/high pressures and fluctuating conditions. The layers protect the flange surface from damage in addition to providing an effective seal. UKL KAMMPROFILE Gaskets are specially designed and suitable for light & heavy designed flanges. The serrated metal core can be reused, subject to inspection after cleaning and re-layering. Advantages of Kammprofile gaskets are: • Seals pressures up to 250bar. • Suitable for temperature up to 1000°C -dependent on core and layer materials used. • Maintain effective sealing performance in varying temperature and pressure conditions. • Easy to remove without damage to flange surfaces. • Adaptable to suit existing arrangements, without modification. • Less sensitive to assembly faults (inaccurate bolt tensioning) • Reduces maintenance costs, leakage.

Gasket profiles Type A: Parallel root core for use in confined locations including male & female, tongue & groove and recessed flange arrangements. Type B : Parallel root core with integral centering ring suitable for raised face and flat face flanges. Type C: Parallel root core with loose fitting centering ring which reduces the possibility of damage to the core as a result of mechanical and thermal shock.
