UPP PLEATED CARTRIDGE
- The UPP Pleated Cartridge features a pleated design that increases the surface area, resulting in a longer filtration lifespan and low pressure drop.
- It operates at a maximum temperature of 38°C with 90% efficiency.
- Available in various micron ratings: 0.5µ, 1µ, 5µ, 10µ, 20µ, 30µ, and 50µ.
- Constructed from polypropylene/polyester materials, it is WRAS and BS6920 approved, and FDA compliant.
- Standard outer diameter (OD) is 69mm for 5”-10”-20” sizes, and 115mm for jumbo sizes, with an inner diameter (ID) of 28mm.
- Lengths available: 125mm (5”), 254mm (10”), and 508mm (20”).
- The cartridge uses single sheet technology for high-flow rates and excellent dirt-holding capacity, maintaining low-pressure drops.
- It features bonded vinyl plastisol end-caps for integrity, fusing the pleat pack around a tough inner polypropylene core.
- Compatible with a wide range of industry-standard housings from 4 7/8” to 20” configurations, with larger sizes available on demand.
- Surface area varies by size: 1,600 cm² (5”), 3,500 cm² (10”), 7,000 cm² (20”), 12,100 cm² (10” Jumbo), and 25,000 cm² (20” Jumbo).
- Flow rate and pressure drop data are provided for different micron ratings, with water at 20°C using a 9¾" cartridge.
