The manifold connection elements allow the connection to packings, casing tubes, core holes and other cable protection tubes and pipes. The Fraunhofer Gesellschaft Bremen (IFAM) tested the UGA systems BKD, KD and KSS in experiments. The tests confirm the gastightness, the pressure water tightness and the cold-pressure-watertightness of all systems. The BKD 90-, BKD 150-, KD 150- and KD 110-systems have also been tested in a destruction test.
