Product catalog summary
Specifications:
Suction filters are compatible with fluids HH, HL, HM, HV, and HTG as per ISO 6743/4. For other fluids, contact the sales department. The working temperature range is from -25°C to +110°C. The materials used include an aluminum alloy head, steel spin-on cartridge, polyamide bypass valve, and NBR nitrile seals (FKM available on request). The indicator housing is made of brass.
Pressure Ratings:
According to ISO 10771-1:2002, the maximum working pressure is 1.2 MPa (12 bar), with a test pressure of 1.5 MPa (15 bar) and a bursting pressure of 2.5 MPa (25 bar). The collapse differential for the filter element is 400 kPa (4 bar). The bypass valve is set at 35 kPa (0.35 bar) ± 10%.
Application Example:
Various filter housing models are available, such as FSE11, FSE12, FSE21, etc., with different port sizes and configurations. The installation drawing provides dimensions and specifications for each model.
Ordering and Options:
Accessories include a vacuum gauge and a clogging indicator. The filter media options are cellulose (10 or 25) and metal wire mesh (60 or 90). Seals are available in NBR or FKM.
Pressure Drop and Fluid Speed:
The assembly pressure drop is calculated by adding the pressure drop values of the filter housing and the clean filter element. It should be lower than 3 kPa (0.03 bar). The bypass valve pressure drop is proportional to fluid specific gravity. Recommended fluid speed in suction lines is between 0.1 and 1 m/s.
Additional Features:
A full-flow bypass valve can be mounted in the head, retaining contaminants during bypass conditions. A clogging indicator is available for monitoring the filter element's condition. The construction ensures resistance to fatigue at pressures up to 1,200 kPa (12 bar). Maintenance is simplified with a spin-on cartridge filter element.

S U C T I O N F I LT E R S CLOGGING INDICATOR A visual or electrical indicator allows monitoring of the element condition, and gives an indication of the proper time for replacement. The port for the indicator is a standard feature. BYPASS VALVE In the head, a full-flow bypass valve can be mounted as an option; the bypass flow is designed in such a way that the contaminant is retained in the filter element during bypass conditions. STRONG CONSTRUCTION The materials and the design ensure a superior resistance to fatigue even at working pressures up to 1.200 kPa (12 bar). SE EASY MAINTENANCE The...
