Product catalog summary
Compatibility: The filters are compatible with fluids HH, HL, HM, HV, and HTG as per ISO 6743/4. For other fluids, contact the sales department.
Working Temperature: The operational temperature range is from -25°C to +110°C.
Materials: The head and cover are made of aluminium alloy, the bowl and bypass valve are made of polyamide, seals are NBR Nitrile with FKM Fluoroelastomer available on request, and the indicator housing is brass.
Pressure Specifications: According to ISO 10771-1:2002, the maximum working pressure is 300 kPa (3 bar), test pressure is 500 kPa (5 bar), bursting pressure is 1 MPa (10 bar), and collapse differential for the filter element is 300 kPa (3 bar).
Bypass Valve: The setting is 170 kPa (1.7 bar) ± 10%.
Application Example: Return filters are available in models FRH31, FRH32, and FRH33 with various port sizes and dimensions.
Ordering and Options: Filters can be ordered with different port types (BSP, NPT, SAE), sizes, and accessories. Seals are available in NBR and FKM.
Pressure Drop Curves: The assembly pressure drop should be less than 50 kPa (0.5 bar). Curves are based on tests with mineral oil of 30 cSt viscosity and 0.9 kg/dm³ specific gravity.
Clogging Indicator: Visual or electrical indicators are available to monitor the filter element condition.
Additional Features: The filling plug option allows efficient oil filtering, and the design ensures no leaks with easy replacement of filter elements.

RETURN FILTERS FLUID SPEED when selecting the filter size, we suggest to consider also the max recommended fluid speed (in return lines normally 1,5 < v < 4 m/s) PRESSURE DROP CURVES (Ap) The "Assembly Pressure Drop (Ap)" is obtained by adding the pressure drop values of the Filter Housing and of the Clean Filter Element corresponding to the considered Flow Rate and it must be lower than 50 kPa (0,5 bar). FILTER HOUSING PRESSURE DROP (mainly depending on the port size) N.B. All the curves have been obtained with mineral oil having a kinematic viscosity 30 cSt and specific gravity 0,9 kg/dm3;...
