Product catalog summary
Compatibility: The filters are compatible with fluids HH, HL, HM, HV, and HTG as per ISO 6743/4. For other fluids, contact the sales department.
Working Temperature: The operational temperature range is from -25°C to +110°C.
Materials: The cover and housing are made of anodized aluminum alloy, with steel housing for models 61 and 62. The bypass valve is made of polyamide, and seals are NBR Nitrile, with FKM fluoroelastomer available on request. The indicator housing is brass.
Pressure Specifications (ISO 10771-1:2002): Maximum working pressure is 2 MPa (20 bar), test pressure is 3 MPa (30 bar), and bursting pressure is 6 MPa (60 bar). The collapse differential for the filter element is 1 MPa (10 bar).
Bypass Valve: The setting is 300 kPa (3 bar) with a tolerance of ±10%.
Application Example: The document provides dimensions and specifications for various filter models (FRD11 to FRD62) including port sizes and pressure drop curves.
Installation Drawing: Includes tank mounting patterns and dimensions for different models.
Filter Element: Details on filter media types and areas, including cellulose and wire mesh options.
Ordering and Option Chart: Provides a detailed guide for ordering filters, specifying options for filter media, seals, port types, and accessories.
Pressure Drop Curves: The document includes curves for clean filter element pressure drop and filter housing pressure drop, emphasizing the importance of maintaining assembly pressure drop below 50 kPa (0.5 bar).
Fluid Speed: Recommended fluid speed in return lines is between 1.5 and 4 m/s.
Bypass Valve Pressure Drop: Curves are provided to account for flow peaks and proper valve configuration to avoid pressure peaks.
Additional Information: The document notes that all curves are based on tests with mineral oil of specific viscosity and gravity, and advises checking fluid characteristics if discrepancies occur.
Spare Parts and Accessories: Information on spare seal kits, clogging indicators, and strong construction features of the filter housing.

RETURN FILTERS FLUID SPEED when selecting the filter size, we suggest to consider also the max recommended fluid speed (in return lines normally 1,5 < v < 4 m/s) PRESSURE DROP CURVES (Ap) The "Assembly Pressure Drop (Ap)" is obtained by adding the pressure drop values of the Filter Housing and of the Clean Filter Element corresponding to the considered Flow Rate and it must be lower than 50 kPa (0,5 bar). FILTER HOUSING PRESSURE DROP (mainly depending on the port size) CLEAN FILTER ELEMENT PRESSURE DROP (depending both on the internal diameter of the element and on the filter media)
