Product catalog summary
Operation Description:
The Turbo AQS 3-phase centrifuge processes washing water contaminated with solids and foreign oil at a rate of 5-15 liters per minute. Inside the centrifuge, the water is separated into three phases: water, foreign oil, and solids. Cleaned water is discharged under pressure and returned to the washing bath. Solids accumulate in a removable insert that requires manual emptying. Oil is discharged into a container where residual water is separated by gravity and returned to the centrifuge. The system's controls are housed in a central cabinet, with options for external fault indications.
Cost-effectiveness:
  • Reduced operating media requirements due to local regeneration and recirculation.
  • Lower consumption of washing medium and no need for additional filtration aids.
  • Significant savings in wastewater costs and personnel expenses.
  • Increased bath service life by 3-12 times compared to systems without a cleaning unit.
  • Effective separation of solids (1-10 μ) and reduction of emulsified oil by 25%-50%.
Environmental Protection:
  • No waste from additional filtration aids like filter paper or kieselguhr.
  • Reduction of chemical and process components by up to 90% compared to systems without a cleaning unit.
  • Recirculation reduces fresh water needs and wastewater generation.
  • Improved workplace hygiene and significant slurry reduction due to high dry substance content.

Turbo AQS 3-phase centrifuge with manual removal of solids Description of operation: The washing water which is contaminated with solids and foreign oil (free / emulsified) is supplied to the centrifuge in consistent quantities of 5 – 15 l/min. inside the centrifuge there is a 3-phase separation into water, foreign oil and solids. Once it has been cleaned of solids and free oil, the water is discharged under pressure via a nozzle from the centrifuge drum and fed back directly into the washing bath. The slurry remains in the slurry insert of the centrifuge. However, this insert needs to be replaced and emptied by hand from time to time depending on the amount of slurry which accumulates. The oil is discharged with the aid of a second nozzle and fed into an after-separating container. There, residual water is separated from the oil through the effects of gravity and returned back to the centrifuge. The separated oil can be emptied at intervals and disposed of as used oil. All of the control buttons, indicator lights and switch components required for operation of the system are housed in the central control cabinet. It is possible to connect an external fault indication, e.g. flashing light, horn etc. Cost-effectiveness: - Reduced requirements for operating media (recirculation – local regeneration) Reduced consumption of washing medium No costs for additional filtration aids or media associated with disposal, as no additional filtration aids or media are required Clear savings in terms of waste water costs thanks to the increased service life Personnel cost savings due to reduced operator outlay Virtually no production downtime for cleaning work Service life of the bath increased by a factor of 3 – 12 depending on the application and the amount of work needed to be done by the bath in comparison to systems without a cleaning unit Separation of solids 1 – 10 μ / oil separation (free oils) Oil separation (emulsified oils) reduced by around 25% - 50% Helping to protect the environment: - No waste is generated in terms of additional filtration aids or media such as filter paper, kieselguhr etc. which would otherwise also need to be disposed of. Reduction of chemical components and process components by up to 90 % of the quantities used in comparison to systems without a cleaning unit. The recirculation and reuse of water reduces requirements for fresh water and the amount of waste water generated in the process. Improved hygiene in the workplace. Significant slurry reduction thanks to the high dry substance content of the slurry.
