The Rufnek® winch incorporates Intelliguard™ technology, an advanced safety system designed to prevent winch overloading. Intelliguard™ continuously measures torque during operation and alerts the operator via a light indicator as the winch approaches its maximum rated capacity. This system helps reduce accidents, injuries, equipment failure, and downtime.

Intelliguard™ also records critical data such as overload events with date and time stamps, start-and-stop run times of the truck engine, and other vital winch operation data. These electronic records are downloadable, enabling fleet and safety managers to analyze usage patterns, improve preventive maintenance, optimize equipment handling, and enhance safety training.
