SJ3 Sealed Joint Technology

Product catalog summary
Introduction
U.S. Tsubaki's SJ3-Sealed Joint Technology is designed to enhance performance and protection in demanding environments. This technology features a patented triple seal system that guards against fine particulates and contaminants, ensuring longer chain life and reduced downtime.

Sealed Joint Technology
The primary cause of chain wear is abrasion on the pins. U.S. Tsubaki's seals prevent debris from entering the pin-bushing area, extending chain life. The seals can be customized based on chain type and application.

Seal Types
  • Extended Bushing Barrier Seal: Extends bushings beyond sidebars to create a barrier against abrasive materials.
  • Polymer Wide Face Seal: Made from high-temperature polymer, this seal encircles the bushing to resist particulates and contamination.
  • Stainless Steel Internal Ring Seal: A patented seal that rotates within a bushing groove, forming a labyrinth to block debris.

Applications
The SJ3 technology is effective in harsh environments such as cement, gypsum, coal, sugar, grain, clay, coke/carbon, fertilizer, and potash industries.
