Programming Modes
Programming procedures include configuring counter and input types, setting scalers, and defining relay states for machine control.

Example Applications
Examples include length cutting processes and volume dosing, illustrating how to configure outputs and program the device for specific industrial applications.
Process Overview
The document outlines a process involving signal reception from a conveyor system, stopping the conveyor, and sequentially operating valves.

Implementation
Connect an external reset input to receive signals from the conveyor system. Outputs are configured to control the conveyor and valves sequentially.

Programming
Configure counter and input types for the sensors used. Set scalers for required units and manual reset mode. Each output is programmed with specific preset values corresponding to the flow rates of the valves.

Programming Notes
Select an appropriate counting mode and input type for the application. Choose between automatic and manual reset modes.

Output Programming Notes
Determine if each relay output state depends on a counter or speed value. Configure each output accordingly.

Function Programming Notes
Set the decimal point position for display and choose the measurement system for printouts.

General Information
The 9100 is a versatile counter/tachometer and process controller with features like a dot matrix LCD display, simultaneous display of count value, batch number, and grand total.
Specifications
The device features an illuminated LCD with three lines, a sealed elastomeric keypad with 10 keys, and terminal connections with a 1x9 and 1x10 pin plug. It supports unidirectional counting A and direction B, with modes A-B, A+B, A/B, and bidirectional quadrature x1, x2, or x4.

Preliminary Counting Multiplier
The multiplier ranges from 0.00250 to 9.99999, and the divisor ranges from 1 to 9999.

Frequency Input
Only input A is supported, with a range of 10-30V DC.
