Air discharge characteristics, control blades set for internal swirl Air terminal units ̈ Swirl The discharge pattern of the VDW type swirl diffusers can be adjusted manually and thus permits an adaptation to any structural changes. Due to the rotary swirling motion of the air discharge, induction of room air occurs very quickly, resulting in a rapid decay of supply air velocity and temperature differential.
