LSI load moment indicator - 1

LOAD MOMENT INDICATOR IDEAL FOR BOTH PROPORTIONAL AND NON-PROPORTIONAL HYDRAULIC CRANE BOOM DESIGNS LSI is proud to introduce the new Load Moment Indicator (LMI) for hydraulic cranes. The LMI features two pressure transducers that read the rod and bore side pressures of the hydraulic lift cylinders. The signal from the pressure transducers is transmitted wirelessly to the GS820 Display using a GS Transmitter Box. This eliminates the hardwired cable that runs between transducers and the display, which is a common problem in the industry. That means there will be one (or more) less cable connection for you to have to diagnose and support. Our typical load accuracy is 1% error of maximum capacity. LSI Cable Reels feature radio transmitters that transmit boom length and boom angle wirelessly to the GS820 Display. Our angle sensor is self leveling, eliminating the need to do a span calibration when setting up the system. The GS820 Display also has the option to monitor an LSI Slew Sensor, and can set up our Work Area Definition software. Users can choose between our GS110 Mini Cable Reel and our full length GS112 Cable Reel. The GS110 Mini Cable Reel has a very small footprint and is designed for proportional booms. This allows the cable reel cable to be terminated at the end of the first telescoping section. This reduces cable breakage because the boom cable does not run all the way to the boom tip. The GS110 design also assists in reducing the system cost. At LSI, we have the advantage of using a much stronger breaking strength cable in our cable reel. Give us a call or send us an email: +1.281.664.1330 | sales@loadsystems.com Our wireless A2B Switch allows us to do this because the cable does not need to move an A2B signal. The LMI is suitable for both proportional and non-proportional hydraulic crane boom designs. OEM crane manufacturers will enjoy the ability to clone an initial system calibration and upload the calibration data to additional displays using each display’s onboard USB port. This will allow for a fast calibration of each subsequent system. The GS820 can handle in excess of 3,500 pages of load charts. The GS820 Display provides a standard built in data logger with the ability to record 32,000 events. The data logger can be easily downloaded to a USB drive.
