Raw Materials for Hoses The most important materials for making material handling hoses are rubber compounds, cord materials and components like steel flanges, rings, etc. The compounds are made to our specification, supplied to size and processed by our own factory. The composition of the rubber compounds depends on the intended use. For the inside of our hoses, for example, we use wear layer rubbers with a number of properties.
