Printing Specifications
For both Ultraflexx and Ultraflexx+ materials, the recommended extruder temperature is 225°C with a tolerance of +/-10°C. The bed temperature should be maintained between 45-90°C. The print speed varies slightly between the two materials, with Ultraflexx recommended at 20-35 mm/s and Ultraflexx+ at 25-40 mm/s. The fan speed should be set between 0-30%, and the minimum nozzle diameter is 0.35 mm.
Material Properties
The density of Ultraflexx is 1.15 g/cm3, while Ultraflexx+ is 1.11 g/cm3, both measured according to ISO 1183. Water absorption for both materials is 0.8% as per ISO 62. The flexural modulus is 25 MPa for Ultraflexx and 32 MPa for Ultraflexx+, measured by ISO 178. Tensile strain at break is greater than 200% for Ultraflexx and greater than 825% for Ultraflexx+, according to ISO 527. Both materials show no break in Charpy impact tests at 23°C and -30°C, as per ISO 179. Hardness is measured at 74 sh/A - 22 sh/D for Ultraflexx and 90 sh/A - 42 sh/D for Ultraflexx+, following ISO 62. The Vicat softening temperature is 175°C for Ultraflexx and 185°C for Ultraflexx+, according to ISO 306.
