Open the catalog to page 2SUPERMAX® The Tranter SUPERMAX® shell & plate heat exchanger is designed for pressures of 100 bar and above, and temperatures up to 900°C. The SUPERMAX® can be installed horizontally or vertically depending on application and customer preference. We recommend horizontal installation for condensing /evaporating / boiling applications. The chevron-type plates are fabricated into a cassette by full automatic welding in the port hole (1).
