SmartSort® LineSplitter TECHNICAL DATASHEET RELIABLE DISTRIBUTING AND SORTING AND HIGH PERFORAMANCE With the SmartSort® LineSplitter TRANSNORM is providing a standardised industrial solution to end users and integrators from the parcel and distribution segment that are seeking line distribution (e.g. a sorter feeding system) in the high-end performance range with peak capacity of up to 6,000 units per hour. The SmartSort® LineSplitter is mechanically designed in such a manner that up to 6,000 cardboard boxes can be distributed or sorted each hour on an incoming line. The closely spaced rollers of the swivel roller bars combined with extremely short swivel times enable very low gaps between adjacent packages in the process. In addition, the system can also handle demanding goods such as courier bags or small cardboard boxes at high speeds. Another advantage lies in the gentle product handling; The goods being conveyed pass through the module without making contact with any guide elements. Typical applications include the parcel segment with packaged goods ranging from 100 to 1,200 mm in length, in which the texture and quality of the base of the goods can be highly diverse. The standardised solution that has been tested in several applications minimises the effort required for project planning as well as the risk of the solution working for system projects.
