By combining multiple units, various sorting solutions with distribution capacities of > 8,000 units per hour can be realized. Typical applications are packed unit loads with a length of more than 100 millimeters. From dispatch bags and small boxes to plastic containers and trays with waffle bottoms to car tires, even complex goods can be transported safely and at high speed and sorted on both sides, if necessary by combining multiple units. As a standardized, standalone swivel roller unit, the new TS 4810 can be flexibly integrated into new and existing conveyor systems. The cover of the swivel bar meets the highest safety requirements and prevents the conveyed material from being pulled in. PU-coated rollers also provide the necessary traction, ensuring safe transport even after an unplanned stop. The swivel roller unit has a swivel range of -60° to 60° and, with swivel times of < 200 ms, is highly dynamic. The new drive and maintenance concept is unique: The unit can either be replaced completely or disassembled from above into manageable components (< 15 kg) for maintenance. The newly developed toothed belt drive allows unrestricted reversing operation and requires neither loosening nor readjustment when replacing components. The units are largely maintenance-free and can be removed as a whole or disassembled into manageable assemblies. Repairs and/or maintenance can be performed ergonomically outside the conveyor system by replacing the entire unit or the affected assemblies. This does not affect system availability. Electrically switched swivel bars also ensure maximum reliability and smooth running.
