The HTCOD includes a digestion block (requires mains electricity) to react your COD vessels, a photometer to read your samples and a complete set of reagents and accessories. Biological Oxygen Demand (BOD) is the amount of oxygen used by micro-organisms when they degrade organic material in a water sample and is an indication of contamination.
